Club Updates

Thursday, December 17th @ 6:30pm
Friday, December 18th @ 11am

We will be getting the Letterpress Starter Sets in soon! If you were able to come to the QuicKutz open house in October, you got to see it demo-ed and maybe got to play around with it.

We've been playing around with it since then and have discovered that it works absolutely beautifully with our favorite pigment inkpads like Brilliance and ColorBox! If you found it to be a little intimidating, no worries! We've simplified it!

AND--- if you're using these pigment inks, you know FOR SURE it's acid free! Another bonus is that you can use the letter press to create gorgeous debossed pieces for your cards or scrapbooks and mix those pieces with items you've stamped or inked and they will certainly match because you're using the same ink!

We've extended the drop off to the second December meeting for any donations for the Women's Shelter.

Instead of a swap, the call has been put out to support the Women's Shelter (YWCA) by donating items that the women need. When the ladies leave the shelter, they take with them all the basics they are given while there. This includes their sheets and towels.

The Shelter is asking for donations of twin sheets, towels, mini size laundry detergent, bleach, bath soap, etc.

Please call Rhonda (377-0730) if you have any questions.

Quickutz New Release Today!

This release truly lives up to its name! There are two nesting shapes in this release that everyone should have in their collection- squares and circles that have ***14*** nesting dies! That's right- 14 graduated circles and squares. Punches have nothing on these and think of how little space they take up!

There's a film strip, Polaroid photos, scalloped labels (including a nesting label), the most adorable clip board and notebook paper dies and a massive bracket border die that would make a wonderful wall decoration (Yes, Virginia, self-adhesive vinyl cuts beautifully in the Revolution too!)

This is a HUGE release with 27 die shapes and a 4x8 alphabet- Sticky Note (shown above in the photo) Click the photo to visit QuicKutz' website and see the new dies!

QuicKutz Collectors' Series- Zelda Grand!

QuicKutz has announced its first reissue from the vault- Zelda. This time, it's going to be bigger and better than ever- literally! Where as Zelda was previously issued as a Classic size font, this Collectors Edition will be a Grand font, with the upper and lower case letters on 7 4x8 dies for only $99.99.

There are going to be VERY limited numbers of this font made- actually only what stores order, so if you miss it, it won't come around again. We are going to be taking names (but no deposits necessary) for people who want to reserve their Zelda Grand.

The dies will ship to us in July, so you have plenty of time to save up for it (and we'll be having a Garage sale in June or July that will certainly help as well!)

We will be able to accept names for the list until April 7th (all orders have to be placed that afternoon so don't wait too late to decide!) After that date, we will be unable to order any more, and QuicKutz seems pretty serious about this. :)

Local Silhouette Users Club Meeting @ Eclectica!

Many of you have been asking for some assistance getting started using your Silhouette or have reached a plateau and want to know what else your Silhouette can do for you.

We have been approached by a local Silhouette Club about using our back area and we couldn't be more thrilled to share the news! They will be meeting this Monday, March 9th at 6pm in our crop area.

Anyone is welcome to attend and they will be discussing (among the Silhouette talk) how they want to handle their growing numbers. It's an excellent time to join as they will be catering the club to the needs and desires of the members.

This club is in no way affiliated with Eclectica- but they are a great group of ladies who love to share what they know with others who love the Silhouette too!

Love Update- for those that might not have gotten the newsletter

You may have heard through the grapevine that the Love is gone... yep, that's right- QuicKutz has switched gears due to the feedback of many users and retailers and has gone in the direction that most of you have requested- BIGGER!

As a result of this, they will be launching a machine with a 12 inch wide platform! We don't have all the details yet, but it is to be priced the same, if not less than the Love Machine. The idea now is that it will be a manual machine with the option to upgrade to an electric motor.

For those of you that have placed deposits on the Love Machine, we are offering two options- 1. You can roll your deposit over to the new machine (which is currently un-named) or 2. You may receive store credit for the amount of your deposit.

It's wonderful that QuicKutz has responded to the overwhelming demand for a larger die cut area. We can't wait to see what kind of options this opens up for the types of dies they will be able to create and we are very excited about what we've heard about the new machine. As more details become available, we will pass them along.

Thank you for your continued support of QuicKutz and Eclectica. :)
